I can see Toyota techs across the country screaming internally. How many keys, coins etc is going to fall into that mid dash vent? This is an otherwise well thoughtout dash and instrument cluster. The practical choice for the discerning rental customers at National Rental car.
Bonus Texas whopper, holy fuck this thing is huge.

That is the point, to be able to charge suckers customers to pull lost items out of said vent.

I’ve never liked the Rav4’s interior ergonomics, this is just another reason to add to the others

I have no issues with it, similar to my Outback not as intuitive as my Mazda.

Sounds like when I lived in Erie, PA. In the winter it was typically about 10 degrees, snowing, and very windy off the lake. In the summer it would be a nice 80 degree, but also very windy off the lake.
